Every person entering Malaysia (except for child below the age of one) from the Yellow Fever Endemic Zones and other affected areas must produce the certificate of Yellow Fever vaccination.

Malaysia has facilities for high quality health care provided by public hospitals and private hospitals. Foreign visitors are advised to have their own health insurance cover for access to medical care during their stay in Malaysia.
