Official currency is Ringgit Malaysia (RM). One US Dollar is equivalent to about RM 3.53 at the time of publication. There are six denominations of the Ringgit Malaysia in circulation: RM 1, RM 2, RM 5, RM 10, RM 50 and RM 100. Coins in circulation are the cent. One Ringgit Malaysia is equal to 100 cents.
